End of an era. Inside a class 43 ‘Castle Class’ high speed train. Currently operated by GWR between Plymouth and Penzance. But due to be replaced very shortly by class 175 diesel multiple units. These trains have been upgraded and refurbished over the years, and they have been superbly maintained. But there is no getting away from the fact that some of them are nearly 50 years old.
